This Concordia Summit session moderated by Holly Kuzmich, Bush Institute Executive Director, provides an overview of the latest progress achieved by Go Further – an innovative public-private partnership between the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), the George W. Bush Institute, the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS), Merck, and Roche aiming to end AIDS and cervical cancer in Sub-Saharan Africa within a generation – and how investments in women’s health advance global economic and social progress.
Mrs. Laura Bush also accepted the 2021 Concordia Leadership Award, which recognizes immeasurable leadership and contributions to the cause of freedom and women’s rights across the globe.
