The partners of Go Further are delighted to be participating in the World Cancer Congress. Here’s how you can learn more about our partnership, the contributions of the partners, and the work being done.

Launched in May 2018, Go Further is an innovative public-private partnership between the U.S. President Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), the George W. Bush Institute, UNAIDS, Merck, and Roche.

 

Go Further is committed to creating a healthier future for women by integrating and scaling-up cervical cancer screening and treatment services within existing platforms for HIV prevention and treatment and women’s health.

 

The partners of Go Further are delighted to be participating in the World Cancer Congress. Here’s how you can learn more about our partnership, the contributions of the partners, and the work being done in 12 African countries to reduce incidence and deaths from cervical cancer, especially among women living with HIV.

Plenary Session: Building Back Better for Cancer Control

    • ABOUT: In this opening session, Eamonn Murphy, Deputy Executive Director a.i. Programmes for UNAIDS, will highlight Go Further as an innovative and important public private partnership for people-centered, integrated, and needs-responsive healthcare.

 

 

The road to global cervical cancer elimination: The role of multi-stakeholder collaboration in scaling equitable access to prevention, screening & diagnosis

    • ABOUT: In this panel session, experts will discuss opportunities for multi-stakeholder collaboration to scale up equitable and sustainable cervical cancer elimination efforts globally. Sofiat Akinola, Roche Diagnostics International, will provide insight to Roche’s role in the Go Further partnership and how all partners are working together toward a healthier future for women in sub-Saharan Africa.
