Madison Matlock serves as the Assistant for Veteran and Military Families at the George W. Bush Institute. In this capacity, she provides operational support to the team and contributes to their work, enhancing the transition experience for veterans and their families in the areas of health and well-being, education, and employment policy challenges.
Prior to joining the Bush Institute, Matlock worked as a business development manager, building relationships with leaders in commercial real estate, education, and Fortune 500 companies. She has always had a passion for public service and policy. In 2020, she served as a congressional intern for Representative Mike Conaway (TX-11) in Washington, D.C.
Matlock earned her B.S. in Agricultural Leadership and Development from Texas A&M University and is currently pursuing her MBA at Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business.
