Jeremy L. Katz is the President and Chief Operating Officer of D1 Capital Partners. D1 is a global investment firm that operates across public and private markets. Prior to joining D1, Jeremy served as Deputy Assistant to President for Economic Policy and Deputy Director of the White House National Economic Council. In that role, he coordinated economic policy design and implementation during President Donald J. Trump’s first year in office. He served in the Administration of President George W. Bush, including as Special Assistant to the President for Policy in the White House Chief of Staff’s office and earlier as Senior Policy Advisor to the Secretary of Commerce. He currently is a member of the President’s Intelligence Advisory Board and serves as Chairman of the Desai Sethi Institute at the University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine. Jeremy graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in English and received an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
