DALLAS, TX — The George W. Bush Presidential Museum has been named the gold winner for best museum in the 2025 Dallas Morning News Best in DFW: People’s Choice Awards, under the “Things to Do” category.
The annual awards celebrate the best in arts, culture, dining, entertainment, and more throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, based entirely on public votes. This recognition highlights the museum’s continued commitment to education, public engagement, and an impactful visitor experience.
“We are honored to receive this recognition, especially because it comes directly from our community,” said Brian Cossiboom, Vice President at the Bush Center. “This museum was built as a place for guests to gather, learn, reflect, and leave inspired to be part of America’s next chapter. Being selected as the people’s choice for best museum in DFW reaffirms our mission.”
The Bush Museum, housed within the George W. Bush Presidential Center, promotes a greater understanding of the American presidency and examines the consequential times during which President and Mrs. Bush served. The museum offers a moving exhibit on September 11, 2001, a replica Oval Office, and an interactive experience in presidential decision-making
The museum is also host to a variety of special exhibitions that delve deeply into unique topics and provide insights that only a presidential center can offer.
